Alt-J not seeking a new bassist
Alt-J's bassist Gwil Sainsbury bailed on the band in January, a move that was fully supported by the rest of the band. So much so, in fact, that Alt-J aren't even looking for a new bassist.
But don't expect the decidedly wobbly band to go without it's signature bass sound.
"It's possible we'll have somebody to play with us on tour. But as for the band, it'll just be us three," keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton told NME.
In addition, the band claim to be working on a new album that they'd like to release within the year.
Recently, the band behind "Fitzpleasure" discussed what it was like to soundtrack a Miley Cyrus striptease on the Bangerz tour:
"Straightaway I thought 'Wow, that's weird, she's a huge celebrity! Then I thought it's not actually that weird," he said. "I knew she'd tweeted about us in the past and just because she's hugely famous it doesn't make it any different from anyone else liking it."
Green also hopes to take this Miley crossover to the next level.
"I wouldn't rule out a collaboration," he said. "Her voice might suit some of our music! Maybe I'll remix one of her tracks in the future - please!"
