Sharper who was arrest and sent to jail last week, was removed from his jail cell was taken to L.A. County Superior court to face a judge in connections to rape cases involved in California, and Louisiana.
Monday a hearing was held, and the judge decided to remove bail until Friday, citing a "no bail warrant" for Louisiana. Sharper will remain behind bars in L.A. until further notice.
Shaper's attorney challenged the notion saying that the former New Orleans Saints could be held without bail, due to the fact that he hasn't been charged with a crime in Louisiana. Sharper already posted bail for the L.A. case, so there is no reason for him to continue to stay behind bars.
Sharper is set to appear back in court on Friday. The judge in the case is expected to make a decision about Gabrielle Union's ex on whether or not to extradite him back to NOLA where he could face brand new charges.
