ABC's Scandal returns Thursday night with a brand new episode entitled "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." After the shocking ending to last week's episode in which Jake (Scott Foley) shot either David (Joshua Malina) or James (Dan Bucatinsky), fans of Shonda Rhimes' hit series are eagerly waiting to see what happens next. According to the show's stars, this will be a can't-miss episode.

"You're going to find something out in the first few minutes that is gutting and crazy and life-changing," Bellamy Young, who plays First Lady Mellie Grant, told E! News at the Los Angeles premiere of Divergent (which stars her on-screen husband Tony Goldwyn). But Young adds, "It's going to take the full hour for you to know the whole story."

Goldwyn was more direct and simply described the episode as "killer."

Malina, whose character might not be breathing when tonight's episode opens, was purposefully vague.

"I will say all the options are there," he said. "Perhaps nobody got shot...could have been a warning shot over our heads; could have been another person or a deer in the distance...could have been Jake hunting...could be either or both of us!"

But Malina did reveal that reading the script made him as anxious as the fans.

"It caused a lot of anxiety, because I am perhaps healthfully so focused on whether my character survives to the next episode, and it's not like we're given two, three episodes at a time," he said. "So basically we were given a script that ended like that and Dan and I kind of looked at each other like, 'Oh, well, this is going to be a fun two weeks while we wait for the next script!' So yeah, I was a little concerned."
