Lewis Hamilton raised his game to win Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix, but he was quick to praise his "spectacular" car which helped him to do so. The English driver said his car was the "best car I've ever driven", looking to take the credit given to him and push it on to the team in its entirety. Can Hamilton build on this victory?

When discussing his victory he told the millions watching "The car was just spectacular this weekend," Hamilton said after winning from pole and taking the fastest lap. So I'm really, really happy with just a great performance by the team." Hamilton controlled the race from start to finish, and he explained it wasn't as easy as it seemed, saying "I don't think any race is ever easy," he said. "Obviously there are opportunities that are presented in front of you and obviously you have to take them with both hands and today that's what I did."

Fans were wondering if his perfect race was challenging to him and they soon found out as he continued "But looking after the car, looking after fuel, not making any mistakes, it was a massive challenge in that sense."

He is now second in the world championship race, but he seems to know that end goal is a long way away. He explained "There's such a long way to go. We've got a lot of competition out there so I'm sure everyone's going to be pushing and we need to stay on it."
