Stream Tweens' self-titled debut album

Need a pick-me-up after learning that that standalone Publix subs shop story was nothing but a cruel April Fool's joke? Give Tweens' self-titled debut album a spin. The Cincinnatti punk group have crafted an album that owes as much of a debt to surf and garage as it does to riot grrl and pop-punk, especially on the infectious tracks "Girlfriend" and "Hardcore Boy."
The band showcases their trash-pop sensibilities with a few VHS-aping gifs of shrines and headbanging that come along with the stream. Give it a listen over at Pitchfork Advance.
Tweens' Tweens drops April 8 via Frenchkiss.
