Stream Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks' new album 'Enter The Slasher House'

After years of going beyond the pale of weirdo art-music with his band Animal Collective, Avey Tare up and decided that the most subversive thing he could possibly make was a pop album.

Thus, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks was born, sounding suspiciously like prime-era Of Montreal with a tripped-out blend of psychedelia and hooks. And I've already discussed at length how much I love peak OM.

The band's debut album Enter The Slasher House is available to stream below, with accompanying visuals by sometime Animal Collective collaborator Abby Porter. Get ready for a lot of glitchy tape effects, old cartoons, psychedelic colors and toe-tappin' beats.

ETSH drops on a decidedly busy April 8.
