Petition calls for re-write and re-shoot of How I Met Your Mother finale 'Last Forever'

The series finale of How I Met Your Mother spawned a seismic wave of righteous anger across the Internet. It was so divisive that our own Andrew Meola had to write two articles about it, just to wrap his head around the show's ending. Because this is the internet, fans are fighting back in the only way they know how: a Change.org petition to rewrite and reshoot the series finale.

The petition is short, sweet and to the point.

Of course, this will never happen. The show's main actors were fleeing HIMYM like it was a burning, sinking ship. They didn't really seem excited about this season, so they'll never do another episode.

Of course, if you absolutely need a new ending, there's this awesome viral video that "fixes" the final episode so that it ends with Ted meeting Tracy on the train platform.
