Boy band drama, hashtag welcome back to the 90's.

The Backstreet Boys have just announced their upcoming 'In A World Like This' tour with co-headliner Avril Lavigne that is scheduled to kick off on May 6 in Canada. While most of us are fangirling out over this pairing, some people are less than impressed.

Joey Fatone of rival band 'N Sync has taken to the press to show his lack of support for the fellow boy bands latest venture. He tells the Huffington Post in a recent interview "I feel like they just need the money." He then adds a "No offense guys!", like that makes the comment so much better.

Nick Carter, lead singer of Backstreet Boys took to Twitter to express his hurt over the 'N Syncer's comments saying, I'm "just disappointed, I really liked Joey. "

Carter who just got married this past week, took time out of his honeymoon to tweet about his love for his band saying that "I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully it's about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong," refuting Fatone's claims that they are only going on tour for the money.

Carter finished his tweets by saying, "No let me go back to enjoying my Honeymoon."

During his interview with Huffington Post, Fatone also took digs at other boy group New Kids on the Block saying that, "All these other groups and bands said that we will never tour again and you see New Kids on the Block tour and stuff like that.

As for what he says about a possible 'N Sync Reunion, "At this moment in time is anything gonna happen? Absolutely, 100 percent no."
