Filming on the newest installment in the Jurassic Park franchise began on April 14 and the set photos from the first few days of filming are here. The movie, titled Jurassic World, doesn't come out until June 12, 2015, but we were counting down the days until the premiere before these pictures were released and now we simply can't contain our excitement.

Details on the new film have been sparse but what we do know is that the film will star Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt and will return Steven Spielberg to the executive producer's seat. Director of the film Colin Trevorrow teases what a day is like on set.

"Yesterday I was under a construction crane with Chris Pratt, covered with dirt, eyeballing the exact height of the dinosaur trying to kill him. We both cracked up laughing. Sometimes you just have to stop and let the joy take over."

New Girl star Jake Johnson has also been cast in the film and he talks highly of his relationship with director Trevorrow, "When I was growing up and Jurassic Park came out, I freaked out like every other kid. I was born in '78, so I was, like, 12. If it wasn't Colin and someone said they wanted me in Jurassic Park, I would jump on it. The fact that it's Colin, written by Derek Connolly (who wrote Safety Not Guaranteed) and both those guys are personal friends, I'd go through a wall."

Other cast members include BD Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Nick Robinson, and Omar Sy.
