The Premier League race is still alive, and Liverpool had a great chance to move one step closer to landing the coveted title, but a crazy ten minute spell looks set to cost them. Liverpool outplayed Crystal Palace for much of last night's encounter, leading 3-0 with 12 minutes to go. Crystal Palace created a comeback of the ages, scoring three goals in the last 12 minutes, ensuring that Manchester City were well and truly the favourite to secure another Premier League title.

Former Non-League player, Dwight Gayle, scored 2 goals after coming off the bench and stole the show, whilst star striker Luis Suarez was out of form for Liverpool. Although the forward scored once, he appeared out of it for much of the game, and his tears at the end had the whole world talking. He realized his team had thrown away a golden opportunity to win the league, and his bad game was a fundamental reason behind this.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers doesn't appear to be holding on to the slim chance they have, saying "There is no doubt Manchester City will go on and win it," The talented coach continued "We needed to win to keep the pressure on going into the last game and we did not do that." He explained that he was happy with everything prior to the goals, saying "We were outstanding for 78 minutes. We got three goals and looked like we could get a few more, but to concede the three goals at the end was hugely disappointing.

The title race will go to the final day of the season, but it seems only a miracle will bring the Premier League title back to Liverpool.
