This week we learned that One Direction has one very special, legendary fan: Pele! The Brazilian superstar soccer player known world-round as one of the best footballers ever made a cameo appearance during a Where We Are tour concert in his homeland, revealing he's a fan of Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis and Niall. Plus, the former New York Cosmo suggested he join the boy band on stage with his guitar!

''I admire and love you," the world champion soccer player said on the big screen of the Estadio Morumbi in Sao Paulo. ''I play the guitar and one day we'll play together. I don't want to play football, we'll play guitar, OK? Welcome to Brazil again and good luck.''

Do you think this special occasion will come to fruition? Will the 73-year-old sports legend get the chance to play guitar with the boys? Apparently this is something that Pele is really hoping happens, so why not?

''Pele does a lot of work for charity and is keen to make this happen. He is an enthusiastic amateur musician and genuinely excited about the prospect of playing guitar with Niall," a source said, according to The Daily Mirror. ''At the moment a list of potential dates and venues are being discussed but it is looking likely that this will happen. Obviously the boys say they are happy to wear the Brazil shirts in return.''

It would definitely be great to see Pele on stage with the boys, especially rocking out on guitar! What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below!
