After getting killed off by Loki in The Avengers and being resurrected on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel has no plans of stopping Phillip Coulson. Clark Gregg wouldn't mind seeing Agent Coulson show up in Marvel's Daredevil series.

In an interview with Moviepilot, the Iron Man actor teased about showing up on Daredevil. If the Much Ado About Nothing actor got his way, then the fan-favorite character would be appear on each of the Marvel series on Netflix.

When asked if Philip Coulson might show up in any of the upcoming Marvel series, The Avengers actor responds, "I'd be really disappointed if I don't show up in New York for Daredevil. Iron Fist was a huge favorite of mine in comic books as a kid. I've had more than my share, so I shouldn't be greedy, but it would be a huge geek-out moment for me if I got to meet Daniel Rand."

Hypothetically, if Coulson was to show up on Daredevil, it would only spell trouble for both of them. Because the man without fear is a masked vigilante and runs outside the law, S.H.I.E.L.D., which is a law enforcement agency, would have to take him down. The two would have to butt heads, which is usually what happens when superheroes cross paths in the comics.

As reported here, Steven DeKnight (Spartacus) took over as showrunner for the Netflix series. Marvel then announced Charlie Cox would play the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been picked up for a second season. With the role of the man without fear already cast, we await news on further casting announcements.
