Rapper R. Kelly and ex-wife Drea Kelly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Jaya back in June 2001. But when she was around six or seven-years-old, young Jaya started identifying as a boy. Now (at 13) Jaya has officially come out as a transgendered teen who goes by Jay. And several fans are totally supportive of that!

Jay recently announced his true gender identity on the popular social networking site, Ask.fm. In the viral post, Jay proclaims:

"I believe I am a boy and want surgery, and the medication to help me who I was supposed to be."

After one fan posed a question about Jay's sexuality, the teen continued to explain that his friends and family are very supportive:

"[My mom] was like, 'Baby, you know I love you if you were bi, gay, [lesbian], you name it and I would still love you so much." Those close to Jay have already started using the male pronouns "he" and "him" - and he's very appreciative of the wholehearted love and acceptance.

Mstars readers can check out Jay's online account, where he continues openly answering fan questions. And the love continues pouring in:

"Well done buddy on speaking about your situation, it's great to hear you are happy with your decision. All the best wishes."

"I don't have a question I just wanted to say keep your head up and do what you feel is right for you and no one else Because at the end of the day there's no one to please but you and God Be safe and good luck."

"I don't have a question I just want to tell u that I'm so proud of you for being comfortable in your own skin! People live a life time trying to live life to other people liking and in the end they only hurt themselves! Keep living out loud baby and how you see fit! Don't let anyone tell you any diff."

"Very proud of you. And I know for sure your father will be very supportive just as long as his babies are Happy he should be Happy. Good job, Jay and Good luck baby."

"No matter what God loves you & so do i... I'm proud of you & your family for supporting you!!"

Congrats on the brave self-acceptance, Jay!
