Tracy Morgan: Kevin Roper, Driver That Caused Fatal Crash Pleads "Not Guilty"

"Not guilty" is what Kevin Roper pleaded in a New Brunswick court Wednesday afternoon.

Roper is the truck driver that caused the fatal multiple car accident involving comedian, Tracy Morgan, killing his writer, and friend, comedian Jimmy "Mack" McNair.

MStars News previously reported that Roper is facing charges of death by auto and assault by auto. The Walmart truck driver's bail was set at $50,000, in which he made and was later released.

Roper was driving a truck for Walmart on Saturday, June 7 when he struck Morgan's limo, that was carrying the comedian, his assistant, Jeff Millea, Ardie Fuqua, and Harris Stanton.

Morgan is still in the hospital listed under critical condition.  

Roper has not only claimed that he is innocent; according to TMZ the truck driver says he's a scapegoat because a celeb was involved.  Roper is claiming that the terrible crash was simply an accident.
