Miami Heat To Add Carmelo Anthony Alongside LeBron James & Other NBA Stars?

The Miami Heat shocked, and annoyed the world when they added LeBron James and Chris Bosh to their team alongside Dwyane Wade, but now this summer they are looking to go one further. They have little flexibility with their cap space, but rumours suggest they are exploring a way to sign the previously mentioned three and possible free agent, Carmelo Anthony, to one roster. The four are set to be free agents, but they could opt out of their contracts all for the purpose of structuring a deal that will see all of them in a Heat jersey in 2015.

Carmelo has his pride, however, which should see him avoid this move. He is not the kind of player to want to live in LeBron's shadows, however, his championships aims have been shattered time after time, so perhaps he will enjoy having an elite form of help. This could be his last, and biggest NBA contract, though, so he will have to consider what's more important, a big pay-packet, or an NBA championship ring.

If the move somehow happened, it would anger the NBA's other teams and fans beyond belief. Many still dislike the Heat for their previous transactions, so this would be adding to and re-injuring an open wound, whilst ensuring that few people will ever like or respect the Heat.

Can this blockbuster move happen, and would the NBA find a way to stop it? The NBA might be about to change in a way that nobody could've predicted.
