Mark Ruffalo Promises More 'Science Bros' Stuff with Robert Downey Jr. in The Avengers: Age of Ultron

The Avengers featured many standout moments when it debuted in 2012, from Hulk's "puny god" destruction of Loki to Iron Man's showdown with the Norse god. But some often-overlooked exchanges are those between Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, two of the smartest men in the film. Luckily, fans can expect more of those scenes in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to star Mark Ruffalo.

The actor spoke to Digital Spy and said he and Robert Downey Jr. get to interact more on that level in the sequel:

"There's lot of 'Science Bros' stuff," he said. "There's some cool 'Science Bros' stuff, very cool stuff." He then added that he has seen the numerous Tumblr posts, memes and fan art inspired by Tony and Bruce's science talk in the first movie.

The site also asked him for an update about a solo Hulk movie, and the actor remained optimistic about the possibility:

"I think they are, for the first time, entertaining the idea of it. When we did The Avengers it was basically 'No!', and now there is some consideration for it. But there's still nothing definitive, not even a skeletal version of what it would be. I look forward to going down that road, if we could crack that nut."

Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige has said any Hulk movie would occur after Age of Ultron, so we likely would not learn more about another solo effort for several months.
