Zoe Kravitz Loses 20 Pounds Drinking Clay For Anorexic, Bulimic Character In 'The Road Within'

Actress/ Singer Zoe Kravitz revealed that she lost 20-pounds by eating clay in order to play an anorexic and bulimic character in the film The Road Within.

According to US Weekly, the 25-year-old star revealed her weightloss secret during the premiere of the film in L.A. saying.

"I've struggled with it myself in the past, "She confessed, "I think all young women do. There are a bunch of images that are thrown in our faces all the time about what we're supposed to look like at 14, 15, 16. It's confusing. I think every woman can identify with that struggle."

Zoe said that she made sure to remain health conscious while losing the extra pounds, "I did a cleanse," she said. "I tried to do it the healthiest way as possible, even though it's not healthy to do." She admitted, "I ended up drinking clay because it cleans out your body and fills you up. I was eating like a Mason jar of pureed vegetables a day and running."
