Who's talking now?

TMZ reported Jenny McCarthy will no longer be on ABC's The View.  The only remaining cast member of the current group will be Whoopi Goldberg.  Talks of Rosie O'Donnell being signed have been in the rumor mill along with Laila Ali.  TMZ reports that Ross Mathews and Jesse Palmer may be taking over the talk show.

Along with McCarthy, Sherri Shepherd also was tossed into The View's can.  Barbara Walters retired from the show back in May but planed on returning to the show to promote her interview with Peter Roger, father of the Santa Barbara killer Elliott Roger.

McCarthy's departure from the daytime talk show comes after her name being repeatedly cited in the media as the pusher for the anit-immunization movement.  Called an outspoken and irresponsible voice on the topic of vaccinations, McCarthy said in a CNN interview, "Without a doubt in my mind I believe vaccinations triggered Evan's (her son's) autism."  The scientific community has found no link to this accusation and consider McCarthy's words dangerous in the celebrity-crazed culture.

Do you think McCarthy's outspoken ways triggered her boot from The View?  Do you have any suggestions on who might be filling the empty seats on the talk show?  Let us know in the comments below.
