Watch New Guardians of the Galaxy Extended Trailer

Fans were recently able to view a 17-minute IMAX 3D preview of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, and now an extended trailer has landed, as well. The two-and-a-half minute trailer provides lots of new footage of the movie and gives us our first live-action look at Michael Rooker as Yondu.

In other news, Gunn revealed on Facebook that he is finally, completely finished with post-production on Guardians of the Galaxy:

"Well, other than finalizing the 3D, I'm officially wrapped on Guardians of the Galaxyand on my way to the airport to fly to Singapore to begin the press wing of this journey. I saw some amazing VFX shots today to wraps things up. I couldn't be feeling more gratitude and love for all the people who have helped create this film. However the audiences take it, there's not a single dishonest or impure bone in Guardians' cinematic body - and that's a hell of a thing for a spectacle film of this size with so many involved. Best experience of my life. Thank you all."

He then passed the baton to Ant-Man director Peyton Reed, who is next in line to direct a Marvel film.
