Rosie O'Donnell is making a comeback.

ABC's The View has officially signed on Rosie O'Donnell to return to the show.  O'Donnell's return to The View has been a hot topic and will be highly anticipated.

The Huffington Post reported that ABC confirmed the move Thursday.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck's return to ABC'sThe View recently announced in Hasselbeck's interview with Barbara Walters,

Mstars News previously reported:

The two former View co-hosts have had a history of vocalizing opposing views on the show.  Their explosive disagreements made headlines and boosted ratings for the show.  Most significantly,O'Donnell and Hasselbeck's views on the United States' involvement in Iraq had viewers following what would happen with the debate.

With O'Donnell and Hasselbeck returning to the talk show and Whoopi Goldberg remaining as a host, viewers can expect a power struggle to play out on the small screen.

Mstars previously reported the drama revolving former cast-mate's drama after a round of firings gave the axe to another controversial personality:

Jenny McCarthy's departure from the show created shockwaves.  McCarthy had sparked a ton of controversy and possibly negative attention for the show with her stance on vaccinations.  The comedian made her rounds on talk shows and spewed her medical opinions (that vaccinations triggered her son's autisim), all of which have had zero backing from the scientific community.
