After some debate stemming from late last year up to a few months ago, Quentin Tarantino is in fact putting his latest script, The Hateful Eight, to film. Now a new interview with Tarantino's buddy, actor Kurt Russell, has revealed a possible start date for filming on this Django Unchained follow-up project. Is The Hateful Eight filming in 2015?

This script leaked online earlier in 2014, leading Tarantino to scrapping the film production of it. Luckily for us the filmmaker changed his mind and we'll be seeing The Hateful Eight in theaters!

Tarantino even wanted to take Gawker Media, which published the leaked script online, to court. Read more on this HERE!

"I'm very, very depressed," Tarantino said about the leaked script in January of 2014. "I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn't mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it's gotten out today."

But according to Russell, the movie is back on!

"I've got a Tarantino project called The Hateful Eight that looks like it may go somewhere around the beginning of the year," the actor told Good Day Philadelphia this week. (Click the link for a video clip of this interview)

This isn't exactly a huge confirmation with details to get super excited about, but it certainly looks like the movie is going to happen.
