It's finally happened! After a month of stunning World Cup action, Germany are the champions, and that means it's time for a rest, right? Nope! As predicted, many of the world's best players are going to scramble to gain moves to bigger, better clubs in the coming weeks. Of course, with the English Premier League being one of the dominant leagues, many will want to ply their trade there. It seems Arturo Vidal, Angel Di Maria, Sami Khedira, Enner Valencia and Edison Cavani could all be EPL players in the coming days and weeks.

Manchester United are close to securing a near $50 million deal for Vidal, with the star saying he wants the move, but is happy at Juventus if it falls through. The midfield player is considered the most complete box-to-box player around, and he'd certainly provide Louis Van Gaal's men with the star ability they need in the middle of the field. United are still hoping they can sign Di Maria, but Real Madrid's winger hasn't made his mind up regarding where he wants to play, and who he'd like to play for.

Arsenal, despite making great additions already, are desperate to land Madrid midfielder Khedira, who they believe would complete their team and fully prepare them for a push to win the EPL title. Arsenal's London rivals, West Ham, are closing in on a $20 million deal to sign Ecuador international Valencia. The star was a relative unknown before the World Cup, but he proved himself as one of the best all-forwards out there, and he'd provide the Hammer with the forward they've been lacking for so long.

PSG superstar striker Cavani doesn't like being in the shadows of his fellow teammates, and it's rumoured that he wants to test himself in the EPL, where he believes he can be the star man once again. The forward is a target for Chelsea and Manchester City, but could Madrid look to tempt him to Spain, perhaps as part of a deal to send Di Maria to France?
