Season 5 of HBO's Game of Thrones is still a painfully long way off, but this just means plenty nuggets of information will come out between now and then. The latest tidbit reveals the directors for each of the Season 5 episodes.

Entertainment Weekly has reported the names of the directors who will sit in the chair for the 10 episodes of Season 5. Each person will helm back-to-back episodes. Up first is Michael Slovis from Breaking Bad, followed by Mark Mylod from Shameless. Then comes Jeremy Podeswa from Boardwalk Empire, Miguel Sapochnik from Fringe and finally David Nutter from Arrow.

Nutter filmed the famous "Red Wedding" episode and also directed The Flash pilot, but everyone else is a newcomer to the show. Noteworthy absences on the list include Alex Graves, Neil Marshall and showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

In other Game of Thrones news, The New Zealand Herald reports 24-year-old actress Keisha Castle-Hughes has landed the part as a Sand Snake, one of the Red Viper's eight daughters in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series. The site speculates she would play Nymeria Sand, a beautiful, emotional and strong woman of mixed race.

The site notes some hints that point to Castle-Hughes' joining the cast. For starters, she changed her Twitter handle to include the name "Stark," one of the famous families from the books and show. She has also reportedly visited Northern Ireland, where the show is filmed.
