Latino Review broke this news, reporting:

Up and coming actress Christina Chong, who was last seen on 24: Live Another Day and recently bagged the female lead in Sergio Mimica-Gezzan's digital feature project Halo: Nightfall, just joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII according to my sources.

After researching this young actress a bit further, we discovered that she is into parkour, which is co-star Pip Anderson's true calling. Perhaps the parkour enthusiast actress will be partnered up with Pip for some action scenes. At the very least, parkour seems to be something we'll get to see in this film.

But it looks like the cast keeps growing as filming progresses. With Chong added to the line-up, we're seeing a lot of unfamiliar faces that are sure to emerge from this experience as stars!

On Twitter about two months ago, Christina posted the following retweet, which it looks like we all missed:

From the looks of this, she was probably part of the cast for quite some time now.
