Kid Rock Subpoena Insane Clown Posse Lawsuit: Must Produce Glass Sex-Toy For Sexual Harrasment Trial
Attorneys for Andrea (Andy) Pellegrini are demanding that singer/rapper Kid Rock hand over a glass sex-toy that he received as a gift from "Dirty Dan" Diamond, a former employee of Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records. Lawyers plan to use the sex toy as evidence in an ongoing sexual harassment suit against ICP.
The Detroit-based rap-metal duo is the target of a lawsuit by Pellegrini who claims that she was subjected to sexual advances, harassment and bullying by colleagues while working for ICP.
She also claims she was given the sex toy as gift from Diamond when he found out she was single. She refused the gift and Diamond gave the glass phallus to Kid Rock instead.
According to a press release by the defendant's lawyers, Diamond has also admitted under oath that he made sexual remarks toward Pellegrini.
Employed for three years, she filed the suit in September 2013 and alleges "wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation and infliction of emotional distress" against ICP (Joseph "Violent J" Bruce and Joseph "Shaggy 2 Dope" Utsler), Psychopathic Records and the group's manager, William Dale. Pellegrini has described her time at the 2012 Gathering of the Juggalos festival as "a living hell."
The suit also claims ICP members requested Pellegrini lie to government investigators from the U.S. Department of Labor who were investigating the record label and encouraged her to get automatic weapons for a video shoot.
Kid Rock has 14 days to produce the glass toy. Neither he or his publicist could reached for comment.
