Not only are attendees in for a special treat with the events and panels at San Diego Comic-Con, they also get the very best sights to see. Check out the best cosplayers from Day 1 of Comic-Con. 

When guests cosplay at these shows, their personal costume has to be constructed by hand. It takes many hours, even months depending on the outfit, to sew the entire thing together. There is a lot of sweat, effect, and endurance put into these eye-catching wardrobe. 

Take for example the Star Trekkies. It takes tons of make-up to get the right look for a Klingon. Not only do you have to appear believable, you also have to talk like the alien species. Halloween has come early and showed up in the middle of the summer. 

Would you dress up as your favorite villain or superhero? Would you walk amongst the crowd as a Stormtrooper or a Hobbit?  One attendee dressed up as Harley Quinn, the Joker's on and off girlfriend. She not only has the blonde strands down pat; the female anti-hero even has Jason Todd's red hood. 

How many Daryl Dixons do you think will show up at the masquerade? Will someone put together a Transformer costume and walk around as Optimus Prime? Because the first day is just the start, we can already assume the costumes are going to get crazier.
