Need a refreshing way to cool down this summer; well we've got you covered.

Along with the help from our friends over at Potluck video, we are bringing you the most refreshing cocktail that will hit your drink glass this summer season.

Get ready and feast your eyes, and your lips around a Terrace Swizzle, a signature drink from the Living Room Bar and Terrace at the W in downtown New York City. The drink, which is a thirst-quenching blend of Gold rum, green tea, apricot liqueur, and lime, tastes just as good as it sounds.

Green tea might seem like a strange thing to include in a cocktail, but the bartender alludes to the fact that the it actually complements the fruit in the beverage.

The ingredients for the drink are as follows:

- A shot of El Dorado rum

- ½ ounce of lime juice

- ½ ounce of Bitter Truth Apricot Brandy Liqueur (this can be substituted for peach schnapps.) If you don't like the fruity flavor you can also go for a triple sec taste instead.

- 1 ounce of green tea syrup

"Only steam the tea for about two minutes," the drink master explains. The reason for the short time is that he just wants just the initial notes from the tea bags and tries to leave out the other tannins and caffeine.

It can either be served with crushed or cubed ice, depending on your preference.

Top the drink off with some fresh limes and a hint of mint, and lay back and enjoy your summer.
