Katherine Webb, A.J. McCarron, Andy Dalton: After Alabama Wedding & Rival Cincinnati Bengals Contract Extension Rookie Will Need New NFL Team

Drama is never too far away from A.J. McCarron. The former Alabama NCAA star wanted to be a starting QB, and wanted to be drafted, however, he ended up on the Cincinnati Bengals' roster, behind Andy Dalton. Many believed that he could edge his way to the No. 1 QB, however today, Dalton has agreed a new six-year contract extension. This means that McCarron, due to financial commitments, may find it hard to take his spot. He recently married his model partner Katherine Webb, and despite their stunning wedding, the pair may now have to consider finding a new NFL team in the coming year or two.

The pair married at Orange Beach United Methodist Church in Alabama, and it seemed like it'd be nothing but smiles from then onwards, however, the very confident QB will now have big decisions to make. Perhaps he waits a year or two, hoping to get his chance, or perhaps he quietly asks to find a new team. A six-year commitment in the NFL is not one a back-up can usually dislodge, and despite his huge belief in himself, it'd be understandable if he sees his future away from Cincinnati.

The former Miss Alabama USA, 25, has been there all the way through McCarron's journey, and there's little doubt that she will follow him wherever he goes, and whatever he decides to do. The pair will likely leave a sparkling print on the NFL for years to come, but it just might not be as easy as they had planned. At least he's got the former Sports Illustrated model behind him.

Can McCarran take Dalton's place, and will he be a success in the NFL?
