Kevin Love, LeBron James, Anthony Bennett, Thaddeus Young, Andrew Wiggins: NBA Trade: Cleveland Cavaliers & Minnesota Timberwolves Have 'Handshake Agreement' Over Proposed Deal

Finally, the smoke and clouds surrounding the NBA has finally cleared. Kevin Love will become a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, unless of course, either team decides to make a child-like change of heart. A sensational trade has been worked out, with the Timberwolves receiving Andrew Wiggins, and the Cavaliers finally getting Love, which should please the whole of Cleveland, and most importantly, should please LeBron James. The Cavaliers will also send Anthony Bennett to the Philadelphia 76ers, with their star Thaddeus Young heading to Minnesota. The deal cannot be concluded until the end of August, but the three teams have a handshake agreement, so it seems it's as good as done.

The deal represents financial and player value for all three teams, and it should change the entire landscape of the NBA, turning the Timberwolves in to a team to look out for, and the Cavaliers as the biggest NBA championship contender. The Cavaliers are giving up a lot to get Love, but they know a combination of Love and James, alongside their talented, young core, would be too much to handle for years to come.

The Cavaliers will be disappointed in giving up their talented youngsters, but they cannot have it all. Of course any of these players could hamper the deal, with an injury or change of heart, but for now it seems this handshake is an unbreakable one.

Will the Cavaliers win an NBA title, and is this trade the correct move for all involved? We'll soon see.
