The official title for Terminator 5, from director Alan Taylor, was previously Genesis, but as of an official announcement via Twitter and Instagram from star Arnold Schwarzenegger, we now can confirm that it is called Terminator: Genisys. Along with Arnold, this new film also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, and JK Simmons.

As you can see, the title is definitely spelled this way, but what is that screen he's sitting in front of? The weird spelling of "genisys" makes us think that it could be a title of some sort of Skynet software.

What do you think of this movie title? Let us know in the comments section below!

Here is the message (cut off on Twitter) that Arnold included with his post:

Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back.
