Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire & Magic Johnson: NBA Stars Face Israel & Gaza Trip Cancellation

NBA stars like Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Amare Stoudemire and the retired Magic Johnson are used to getting what they want, but not this time. The superstars were going to visit Israel to support Amare's co-owned basketball team, but the trip has been cancelled due to the Gaza conflict. They planned to visit in September, but sadly they will not be able to do that now. The stars will have to focus on their teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks and their upcoming 2014/15 NBA season instead.

The players were going to face Hapoel Jerusalem, Amare's team, to showcase the new arena. The event has been cancelled over safety issues, with no end in sight for the ongoing violence. It's unlikely that they will reschedule with NBA training camps beginning soon, and more pressing, the season starting within a few months. This was an extra activity for their vacation time, but now their attention will focus on winning an NBA title.

Oklahoma City have the best chance, with a star-studded roster. However, with Rose back fit and ready, the Bulls will be hoping to win it all. Amare's Knicks may have an outside chance, but sadly they don't have the depth to win a championship. These stars will now more than likely put in extra, early effort in to getting fit for the season, so perhaps its for the best for their NBA teams.

Should they reschedule this trip, and which star has the best chance at landing an NBA title?
