Premier League Transfer Gossip: Cristiano Ronaldo, Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo, Samuel Eto'o, Mehdi Benatia & Loic Remy: Manchester United Target Huge Transfer Deal For EPL

There are only around three weeks left until the transfer window is closed, meaning the Premier League transfer gossip is exploding more and more by the day. Cristiano Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria could join Manchester United from Real Madrid. Marcos Rojo, Samuel Eto'o, Mehdi Benatia and Loic Remy could all be set for EPL moves to the likes of United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool. Louis Van Gaal may set the tone for United and the other teams.

Ronaldo has hinted that he will return to Old Trafford one day, but nobody believes it will be this summer, however, could he be heading home? United have been chasing some big signings this summer, and they are after a winger, believed to be Ronaldo's teammate Di Maria. However, the club recently insisted they could afford and sign anybody in world football, and now Van Gaal has hinted he needs some elite quality like "Ronaldo or Di Maria".

United might well end up with one of the two elite wingers, but that hasn't stopped them from targeting other players. The club are hoping to sign Rojo and Benatia, but they face competition from Chelsea for the latter. Chelsea are also hoping to beat rivals Tottenham for the signing of QPR striker Remy, who recently missed out on a move to Liverpool. Strangely, Chelsea want Remy to replace the injured Didier Drogba whilst Liverpool may sign former Chelsea striker Eto'o instead.

Could Ronaldo be heading home, or will we have to wait another year to see a deal of that magnitude come to fruition?
