Alleged Josh Trank Impostor Holds Fantastic Four Q&A on Twitter

Director Josh Trank held a question-and-answer session on Twitter on Saturday to address some fans' questions about the Fantastic Four movie reboot. In it, he addressed the controversy of Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, the leaked photo of The Thing and more. There was just one small problem. This Josh Trank was apparently an impostor.

After the Q&A session got fans buzzing, Steven Weintraub of Collider tweeted that the @josh_trank Twitter account is actually a fake and the director did not hold the Q&A. "Someone I trust and would know tells me @josh_trank is not Josh," he wrote. "Do not follow or believe the tweets."

Parody accounts are allowed on Twitter, but it is not permissible for someone to pretend to be another person and post as that person. We'll update you if 20th Century Fox or Trank pursues any action.

In related news, Jordan spoke about his experience playing Johnny Storm to Source Magazine and while he didn't directly touch on the controversy, he did reference how his interpretation is fresh.

"Yeah man it's been a lot of fun. Johnny Storm is such an iconic character. There's a lot of personality traits and things to him that people are really going to look forward to seeing. Got a lot of original Johnny stuff in there and then you have - not a NEW take but a fresh take. We have a different take on different things as well. I could go on and on about it but I think it's something that people will enjoy."
