Actor Steve Carrell (The Office) has been confirmed to star in the Hollywood's reeboot of popular animated series Looney Tunes. The last time we saw Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig was in Joe Dante's Looney Tunes: Back In Action.

Remember the time when Bugs didn't think there were gremlins on planes? Or when Daffy knocked himself out and became his favorite hero, Duck Tracey? And after all these years, you would think somebody would draw pants on Porky Pig's nude body.

We haven't seen the Looney Tunes up on the big screen since Dante's flick in 2003. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is keeping their eye on the untitled Acme project. X-Men: First Class scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz have been given the writing duties to come up with zany adventures and laugh-out-loud dialogue, such as "What's up, Doc?" and "Ain't I a stinker?"

The project will most likely blend in live-action and CGI effects, much like Space Jam 2, starring basketball icon Michael Jordan. Carrell will have to step up his acting game if he wants to interact with performers who aren't even there.

The Despicable Me voice actor will be reunited with his Crazy, Stupid Love directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Hopefully, we will see Bugs dressed in drag, singing opera, and Wile E. Coyote trying to capture the Road Runner.

Steve Carrell is attached to star in the Looney Tunes animated movie. Readers, are you excited to see Bugs and Daffy again on the big screen?
