Josh Gordon & Adrian Peterson: NFL Stars Want To Flee Cleveland Browns & Minnesota Vikings For Canada & Dallas Cowboys

They say it's best to never run from a problem, but it appears two NFL superstars never got that memo. Josh Gordon and Adrian Peterson both want to up and leave their homes for a new adventure. Gordon wants to play in the CFL, leaving the Cleveland Browns (temporarily) behind, while Peterson would ditch the Minnesota Vikings for the Dallas Cowboys.

Gordon has been handed a one-year drugs ban, and he could struggle to stay fit and to save his American football career. Today reports suggested he wanted to play in the CFL during his ban. However, he soon received bad news for the second day running. Banned players are no longer allowed to play in the CFL, and the Browns believed it was a bad idea.

Peterson had been a menace in the NFL, so much so, that he soon became the face of the Vikings. However, he has suggested he'd like to play for the Cowboys, adding to the constant reports that he could soon be traded. Could the record-breaking running back force his way to Dallas? The Cowboys are a hard-hitting team that love to run, so Peterson's toughness would be welcome, that much is for sure.

It seems like some football stars are desperate for a fresh start. Are there any other stars that would make a great fit in a new team? If so name them in the comments box. With Peterson heading towards the end of his career perhaps he's ready to try something new.
