Despite morbid rumors, popular Murehwa singer Jah Prayzah did NOT die in a tragic car crash while en route to a concert in Karoi. Prayzah was initially furious that some disturbing hoaxter would spread such devastating "RIP" rumors on social media. But the viral death hoax soon inspired the Kumbumura Mhute musician to pen a new tune entitled "Karunyerekupe," and it's pretty awesome and upbeat...

Prayzah apparently "passed away" on Twitter over the weekend. Well, that's not true, he's still alive - and now he's speaking out:

"As artists, we face a lot of things, and some of these things inspire us. I am sure this single will be well received by my fans who were disturbed by the news of my death... I was disturbed by the news I received during the weekend. How can someone seriously wish for someone's death? Better wish for my poverty rather than death. It's better that way because I will be alive at least. But when life gives you lemons, what do you do? Squeeze them, add a little sweet ingredients, and make lemonade from the sour fruit. I am going to enjoy drinking my lemonade when you thought I would not cherish the lemons. God is the only one who takes and gives life, not people" (via Nehanda Radio).
