Dwayne Johnson Is Black Adam In 'Shazam' DC Movie [Twitter Photo] The Rock Finally Reveals Highly Anticipated Role - Super Villain Rather Than Superhero!

After months of teasing either a new role as DC Comics superhero Shazam or super villain Black Adam, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson this week took to Twitter to post a photo giving us the highly anticipated answer to the burning question. Though we all probably see him as a leading man, the former WWE superstar is set to play super baddie Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam movie!

Earlier this summer, Johnson teased his DC role in an interview, stating, "Just say the word," leading the Internet to explode in Shazam speculation. Then the Black Adam rumors came up as well, all leading to this week's Twitter post officially revealing his true role in the new project.

Johnson posted the following Black Adam quote to his Twitter: "Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot."

Accompanying the menacing picture, "The Rock" said it is his "honor to become" Black Adam.
