Michael Sam is thanking the heavens that he got a second chance at the sport he loves, and owner, president, and general manager of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones for giving him a opportunity to play with the Dallas Cowboys. The openly gay defensive end called the wonderful moment a "dream come true."

The new Cowboy member expressed his excitement via Twitter, writing, "As a kid growing up in Texas I always loved the Dallas Cowboys, so to join this incredible organization is really a dream come true."

He continued, "I want to thank the Jones family, the entire Cowboys organization, and the city of Dallas for giving me this opportunity."

Adding, "I look forward to putting my helmet and pads on every day to work my hardest to help bring a sixth Super Bowl Championship to Dallas!!"

Congrats Sam, but about that sixth Super Bowl Championship, fans who do you think will be the Super Bowl Champs this year?
