Season 4 of Showtime's Homeland finds Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) in a brand new situation. She is working overseas, and Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) is dead. But while her love interest of the first three seasons is gone, might she find new love in the fourth season in the form of Quinn (Rupert Friend)?

The two have had some chemistry in the past, and fans have been asking for a relationship for a while. But will it actually happen this season? A reader asked the "Matt's Inside Line" column at TVLine if sparks will fly between the two, and here's what the site reports.

"Having hit the Season 4 premiere screening on Thursday night, I can avow that, yes, sparks of a kind are flying between the two when the show returns - primarily because they find themselves on opposite sides of a budding conflict. As Claire Danes explained it to me at the event, 'Quinn is eager to get out of the [espionage] business and is recognizing behavior in Carrie that he himself has had in the past as an assassin, and he's concerned for her. So he trying to jar her into 'consciousness,' but she's reluctant to engage.'"

A relationship between the two characters would likely require a slow build, but it also wouldn't be out of the question for the two to suddenly find themselves in bed together. After all, the Brody and Carrie relationship happened rather quickly in the first season.
