'Terminator 5' Trailer Spoilers, Release Date News - Paramount Schedules 2 More Sequels After 2015's 'Genisys'

The 5th Terminator movie, which is entitled Terminator: Genisys, is one of the most anticipated sequels of 2015; but what if we told you there are 2 more movies in the works for this time-traveling, killer robot franchise? Paramount this week scheduled new Terminator films with release dates set for 2017 and 2018!

According to new reports, the specific dates set for these 2 new films are May 19, 2017, and June 29, 2018. Also, Deadline is reporting that these films' working titles are Terminator 2 and Terminator 3, which suggests a reboot approach, but could also just be easier shorthand for those involved.

Though the next Terminator film is somewhat of a reboot, it isn't as cut and dry as that. The other 4 films that have already come out will have an influence on the upcoming trilogy, but it is still considered a standalone concept. Just think of it as a reboot that will not ignore the past.

Terminator: Genisys stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee and J. K. Simmons. This franchise reboot movie is set to open on July 1, 2015.

What do you think of this movie news? Are you excited to see 3 new Terminator movies coming out in the next few years? Do you think the titles will be as strange as Genisys? Let us know what you think about all of this in the comments section below!
