‘Dancing With The Stars’ Contestant Janel Parrish Admits Reality TV Makes Her Feel Naked

As season 19 of Dancing with the Stars quickly approaches, contestant Janel Parrish opens up to People as a guest blogger about the hit reality show. The Pretty Little Liars star will be competing with partner Val Chmerkovskiy this season and even though she is a seasoned actress, she admits she wasn't prepared for this reality role.

"Doing a reality show kind of makes you feel like you're naked, but I'm also open to that challenge, because I think that's why people watch the show. It's been a really, really fun roller-coaster ride for me so far," Janel blogged today.

Although the 25-year-old actress, who plays Mona on the hit ABC show Pretty Little Liars, has been dancing since she was six years old, she's never had any partner training or ballroom experience.

"When I found out I was going to be on the show, my reaction came at me in two waves. The first wave was extreme excitement, and the second was extreme nervousness, just because I've never done anything like this before," she said.

As for her partner, Janel is completely happy with Val. She always posts photos on Instagram of the duo in rehearsal and has even embraced the paparazzi photographing them together.
