'Star Wars 7' Title News, Casting SPOILERS & Plot Rumors: Anthony Daniels Talks 'Episode VII' C-3po - Suit Or Motion-Capture?

Anthony Daniels is returning to the Star Wars universe to reprise his iconic role of C-3po in Episode VII, but will the 68-year-old actor actually wear a suit or will modern technology control the comedic relief robot? In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Daniels spoke about J.J. Abrams reaching out to him and asking if he'd be happy with only providing his voice for the character - his answer will surely make you all very happy! (SPOILERS to follow)

"J.J. Abrams rang me to ask about filming Episode VII, one of the first things he said after he told me how wonderful I was - and that didn't take long - but he then said, 'Would you be interested in being in the film just doing the voice?' I said, 'No,' and he said, 'Right!' He knew I'd say that," he said. "There's no way I would just do the voice."

Daniels also revealed a pretty cool bit of information about the 2015 movie: his C-3po suit is different, but mainly for comfort for the actor. It won't look different, so that doesn't really change the story.

"I also said that it can't be the same suit. I will tell you that the team then got together and built a new suit. They made an entirely new look-a-like with changes that you will never notice [on screen] that made my life a lot easier. I can get it on and off very quickly," he explained.

When asked about any hints about the movie he could share, Daniels added: "It's very elusive and I'll tell you: It's where we're going now with Episode VII. We're all back."
