Babe Ruth & Derek Jeter: New York Yankees Legend's Contract Up For Sale As Retiring Star Takes Departing Shot At Hank & Hal Steinbrenner

Two of the greatest ever New York Yankees players have made the news today. Babe Ruth is a hot topic as his first ever NYY contract has been revealed, and there are some shocking aspects. However, the soon-to-be retired, Derek Jeter, has taken a shot at Hank Steinbrenner and Hal Steinbrenner, claiming they've never been as involved as their father was, and that they should of done more. Will Jeter say more after he retires?

Jeter insisted "The Boss would pop in frequently during the course of the season. Hal and Hank, they don't really come in too often. They might be at the stadium, but they don't come through the clubhouse. The Boss, we weren't playing good, he'd come through the clubhouse, look you up and down, and shake his head."

Jeter will soon become a distant memory from the current game, becoming an icon that once played the game, like Babe. Babe's contract was released today, and it's up for auction. He was banned from drinking and had to be in bed by 1 am. The contract was signed in 1922, and it's being auctioned off, with predictions suggesting they'll receive well over $1 million dollars. He had a $52k a year deal, but it didn't allow him to play any other sport.

While we sit in awe at the legacy of one legend, one is about to end his own career, and he's not about to go quietly it seems. Will the Yankees ever have another talent in the same calibre as these two?
