Food Network stars Gina and Pat Neely announced that after 20 years of marriage they're getting a divorce. The couple is best known for their series Down Home with the Neelys.

The couple released a statement Friday, Sept. 26.

Today we announce that we are ending our marriage of 20 years for irreconcilable differences. This was a tough decision, but we believe it is the best decision for us. As parents of two beautiful adult daughters that we love dearly, we will continue to be involved in each other's lives as parents and friends. Together we have built a strong brand as The Neelys. Moving forward our focus will be on our individual brands and we are optimistic about our respective futures. We ask for your prayers as we go through this transition and honor our request for privacy at this time."

Fans are wondering what will happen to their hit shows Down Home with the Neelys and Road Tasted with the Neelys. However, divorced couples probably don't fare well in the kitchen together. The couple once owned two restaurants together in downtown Memphis, Tenn., but they both closed last year.

The former couple dated in high school, and reportedly rekindled their romance at their 10-year high school reunion.

The couple married in 1994 and have two daughters: Spenser, 20, who is Gina's daughter from a previous marriage, and Shelbi, 14.

This was the second marriage for both Pat and Gina.

Their famous Neely BBQ sauce just won't taste the same. It's missing one ingredient ... love.
