Jason Derulo is fighting back against the rumors that he cheated on ex Jordin Sparks.

In an interview today with hip-hop and R&B radio station Power 105.1 FM, the R&B superstar denied cheating was involved in the breakup. He admitted that he has women around him all the time and that's where rumors of infidelity could have started.

He went on say he broke up with his pop star girlfriend over the phone because he wasn't ready for marriage and they fought all the time.

When asked if he cheated Jason said, "Nah, man there was none of that. I mean, we had our problems in our relationship, you know what I'm saying?

"Every relationship has their ups and downs and when you start having more downs than ups, you know, you gotta take a look at your relationship and be like, 'Is this something that I'm supposed to be doing?'"

Even though Jason is the one who initiated the breakup, he stills loves Jordin and keeps up to date with what she's doing. He told DJ Envy, "You wanna remain friends but man, that's hard, that's hard, that's hard."

"You know, I catch myself looking at her Instagram and seeing what she's doing and stuff ... 'cause I love her ... You just don't fall out of love with somebody like that."

Jason reiterated a lot of the same things he said in an interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday. In that interview he said the two are not in a good place.

"I wouldn't say good terms," he said. "I'll be lying if I said that, but it's not a bad situation. There's no bad blood. We didn't end off on a weird way or a negative way. It's not like we're hitting each other up, like, 'Hey, what are you doing today?'"

Is there any hope for a Jason/Jordin reconciliation?
