'Harry Potter' Returns! J.K. Rowling Twitter Anagram Reveals New Story In The Works

This week, famed novelist and Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling posted a fun little message on her Twitter. Fans loved that it mentioned a wand and that the language style was a bit "old English," but one fan on Reddit took the message even further. This person realized the author posted an anagram, decoded it, and found out that Rowling had just announced the return of Harry Potter!

Check out J.K. Rowling's initial Twitter post right here:

After decoding the anagram, this is what the message really reads:

"Harry returns! Won't say any details now. A week off. No comment."

Apparently we're going to find out what she meant by this in about a week. For now, we can speculate all we want!

Perhaps we'll see Harry's life after defeating Voldemort at Hogwarts! That's probably the most obvious. Depending on when this new story is set, we could see Daniel Radcliffe return as an older Potter - though not grown much (he's short!).

Since Rowling is getting into the recent craze of reboots, we could see her take on another movie trend: origin stories. Maybe we'll learn more about Harry's parents and see exactly how they lost their lives?

For now all we can do is guess, but really we should wait and see what the author has to say after her "week off." Let us know what you think of this news in the comments section below!
