Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Together Again For Espionage Thriller

Two of the most infamous actors in Hollywood are working together again in development of an espionage thriller for the cable network Syfy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Incorporated is a story of one man's efforts to beat the futuristic corporations that now have unlimited power. The espionage thriller will be developed by the duo's Pearl Street Films.

The motion picture production company has a filmography of such titles like Promised Land, starring Matt Damon and directed by Pearl Street Films regular Gus Van Sant. The company has also got a pilot ordered by Fox for The Middle Man, a comic book series.

Incorporated will be Pearl Street Films's first scripted cable project, which will be executive produced by Ted Humphrey (The Good Wife) and writers David and Alex Pastor (Selfless, The Last Days) will script the pilot. A press release confirms that Incorporated "will be the story of one man's efforts to beat the system."

Syfy is an American basic cable and satellite television channel owned by NBC Universal Cable. Currently, the network is airing more then 10 titles, including, Haven (starring Emily Rose and Lucas Bryant), Spartacus and Z Nation: Home Sweet Zombies (with DJ Qualls)

Affleck and Damon broke into the industry with their film Good Will Huntingdirected by Van Sant. The duo won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. The late Robin Williams, who also stared in the film, won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. The film received universal critical acclaim, grossing more than $225 million during its theatrical run. They only had a budget of $10 million.
