Alexander Wang presented his collection for H&M last night (October 16) at the Armory on the Hudson, an indoor track and field space in Harlem. Jessica Chastain, Mary J. Blige and Dakota Fanning were among the guests who experienced Wang's fashion extravaganza.

Guests were given branded foam boxing gloves as they took their seats in the bleachers to watch the collaboration's campaign video. According to Fashionista, the film began with a video game-like "choose your player" sequence, and then Natasha Poly, Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana and other models show off their impressive athleticism throughout, performing acrobatic stunts, kickboxing and racing snowmobiles to a bass-heavy soundtrack. Once the clip ended, the game came to life, with performers repelling from the ceiling onto a multi-level set, complete with trampolines, ramps and parallel bars.

Models stepped onto the track through a smoke-filled door, in more stylized versions of the looks we've seen over the past few weeks. The looks were accessorized with plenty of sporty objects, including boxing gloves, hockey sticks, catcher's masks, footballs and goggles. When the show ended, Wang did his signature run around the stadium as cannons shot confetti into the air.

Then hip hop artist Sharaya J opened for a surprise set by Missy Elliott. Missy sang some of her biggest hits including "Get Ya Freak On" and "Work it". DJ and producer Diplo kept the party going well into the night. In keeping with the "ball game" spirit, full-sized hot dogs and bottles of iced cold beer were passed around on the dance floor. Wang sure knows how to throw a party!

"Tonight's event for the launch of Alexander Wang x H&M was about high energy and a full experience that goes beyond fashion; from the attitude and speed of the show, to the pop-up store in a locker-room setting, and the performances by Missy Elliott and Sharaya J at the after-party," Wang said. "I wanted for everyone to be able to just let go and have fun and hopefully we achieved that tonight."

The collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online starting November 6, 2014.
