'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' Star Marcia Strassman Dead At 66: Actress Battled Breast Cancer For Seven Years

MStars News has learned that one of our favorite actresses has died.

According to Hollywood LifeMarcia Strassman passed away on Saturday Oct. 25 after battling breast cancer for seven years. Strassman was 66 years old. 

Strassman was known best for her role as the mother in the hit '80s and '90s films Honey, I Shrunk The Kids and Honey, I Blew Up The Kid. She also starred in the TV show Welcome Back Kotter.

Strassman's sister confirmed the sad news, and reported that the former actress died at home in Sherman Oaks, California.

The 66-year-old also appeared on Third Watch, Tremors and Noah Knows Best. Her most recent film included Looking For Mr. Right.

"She was the funniest, smartest person I ever met," Marcia's sister, Julie Strassman, shared as she described her sister, "And talented. She knew everything. Now I won't be able to call her and ask her questions."

Celebs, and fans of the late actress shared their condolences, via social media.

Marcia has one daughter, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Collector.

RIP Marcia Strassman, you will be missed.
