Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is learning that prison won't be a piece of cake, especially since she won't be able to use any kind of technology to see her four daughters.

"When Teresa was told video conferencing via Skype or any other type of video chat wouldn't be available, she became very, very upset," a source told Radar Online. "... Teresa had hoped that video chats would have been a viable possibility."

Not only that, but the Bravo star won't be able to make an appearance for the next season of her reality show.

"Any chance of Teresa doing a video chat from prison for the upcoming season of RHONJ are obviously off the table," the source continued.

However, Teresa will be able to see Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5, when they come to visit as well as email back and forth.

Now that the reality star has been coming to terms with not seeing her girls, she is starting to regret pleading guilty.

"[Teresa has had] nothing but disgust about taking the plea deal that sent her to jail," according to Radar. "Contending she got a raw deal, and bad advice, Teresa is adamant she did nothing wrong."

As MStars News reported, the RHONJ star and her husband Joe Giudice plead guilty to charges of mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison, while Joe received 59 months behind bars for two separate crimes.

Teresa will serve her time at Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, which is the same prison that inspired the Netflix hit comedy series Orange Is the New Black.

The former Celebrity Apprentice star also recently filmed her last Real Housewives reunion special, which began airing last Sunday.

Do you think Teresa should be allowed to video chat with her family or should she not receive any perks in prison?
